Remote- SEO Specialist (Independent Contractor)

NOTE: This role is open to applicants based in the Philippines.

This is a full-time, remote contract position.

Work schedule: 7:00 AM- 3:00 PM, Monday- Friday.

Role Overview

We are looking for a results-driven SEO Specialist who combines a deep understanding of ethical SEO marketing with a passion for emerging AI technologies. The ideal candidate will be skilled in both traditional SEO techniques and modern AI-powered tools, with a solid foundation in HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-depth keyword research using both traditional and AI-enhanced tools.
• Write and optimise SEO-friendly content aligned with ethical marketing standards.
• Implement on-page SEO strategies, including metadata, internal linking, and content structure.
• Use AI tools to streamline content creation, competitor analysis, and performance forecasting.
• Monitor and report on SEO performance using platforms like Google Analytics, Search Console, etc.
• Stay current with search engine algorithm updates and AI innovations to continuously refine strategies.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of hands-on SEO experience with a proven track record.
• Strong understanding of ethical SEO principles and white-hat techniques.
• Proficiency in AI tools for SEO (e.g., Surfer SEO, Jasper, ChatGPT, Clearscope).
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript.
• Familiarity with SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Screaming Frog, etc.
• Excellent writing and editing skills with an eye for detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with AI-driven content generation and optimization.
• Experience working in agile, cross-functional teams.
• Background in content marketing or digital strategy.
