We are seeking experienced Relationship Managers to manage and grow a portfolio of banking clients across various segments. This role is highly client-facing and centres on building long-term relationships, understanding financial needs, and delivering tailored banking, lending, and investment solutions. Key Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management
- Manage and grow a defined portfolio of banking clients.
- Conduct regular client meetings to assess financial position, liquidity requirements, and investment objectives.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all banking requirements and service-related concerns.
- Maintain strong client engagement through proactive servicing and timely resolution of issues.
Banking Transactions and Servicing
- Facilitate day-to-day banking transactions including deposits, remittances, foreign exchange, trade services, and cash management solutions.
- Coordinate with internal operations, credit, treasury, and support teams to ensure seamless execution of client requests.
- Monitor account activity, credit utilization, and overall portfolio performance.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and KYC standards.
Credit and Lending
- Identify financing needs such as working capital facilities, term loans, trade lines, or structured solutions.
- Prepare credit proposals supported by financial statement analysis.
- Partner with credit risk teams to structure appropriate lending solutions.
- Conduct periodic financial reviews and portfolio monitoring.
Investment and Treasury Solutions
- Assess clients risk appetite and recommend suitable investment or treasury products.
- Coordinate with investment specialists to deliver customized financial solutions.
- Stay updated on market developments to provide timely and relevant advisory.
Business Development and Portfolio Growth
- Generate new-to-bank relationships through networking, referrals, and industry engagement.
- Cross-sell relevant banking products including deposits, loans, and investment solutions.
- Achieve assigned revenue, asset growth, and portfolio quality targets.
- Maintain accurate pipeline tracking and portfolio reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- At least 3 to 10 years of experience in relationship management within the banking industry.
- Strong client-facing experience handling deposits, lending, and investment products.
- Solid understanding of financial statements and credit fundamentals.
- Proven track record in portfolio growth and revenue generation.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
