Role Overview
The Quality Engineer (Manager) is responsible for leading testing activities within ServiceNow implementations, ensuring high-quality delivery across projects. This role oversees test strategy, manages testing teams, and ensures alignment with business requirements and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Test Strategy & Delivery
- Define and manage end-to-end testing strategies, plans, and execution.
- Oversee all testing phases including functional, integration, and user acceptance testing.
- Review and approve test plans, test cases, and test reports.
- Monitor testing progress, defects, and quality metrics throughout delivery.
Leadership & Governance
- Lead and mentor a team of quality engineers and testers.
- Ensure adherence to testing standards, methodologies, and governance practices.
- Identify risks and issues, and drive resolution across stakeholders.
- Provide regular updates on testing status and quality outcomes.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work closely with business and technical teams to define testing objectives.
- Translate technical requirements into test strategies aligned with business needs.
- Support continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies.
Qualifications
Required
- Experience leading ServiceNow testing initiatives and managing QA teams.
- Strong knowledge of software testing lifecycle, methodologies, and defect management.
- Experience in developing test strategies, plans, and reports.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- SQL knowledge and functional testing expertise.
Preferred
- Familiarity with ServiceNow certifications and testing frameworks.
- Experience in enterprise-level testing environments.
