Assignment Description
We are looking for a Senior QA Developer / Technical Tester to join a global industrial client's large-scale initiative. This role operates within a Scaled Agile (SAFe) framework and involves close collaboration with Solution Architects, Product Owners, and Business Stakeholders. You will be responsible for designing and implementing robust test automation solutions across a Microsoft-based technology stack.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain automated tests for APIs and front-end applications using Playwright, TypeScript, and Cucumber
- Refactor and update legacy test automation scripts
- Perform RESTful API testing to ensure seamless integration with front-end and third-party systems
- Generate XML files and integrate with TestRails for test reporting
- Set up and maintain integrations between TestRails and JIRA
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
- Support cloud-based deployments on OpenShift
- Collaborate within a SAFe Agile environment to refine and deliver technical solutions
- Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps (CI/CD, pipelines, version control)
- Experience with OpenShift and containerized applications
- Knowledge of JIRA and Confluence for Agile project management
- Background in the industrial production sector is a plus
- Creative approach to designing edge test cases
- ISTQB certification is a nice-to-have
