Implements QA/QC plans for fabrication and erection, conducts inspections (materials, dimensions, surface prep), and coordinates NDT. Reviews WPS/WPQR, monitors weld repairs, and maintains quality records for turnover.
- Conducts quality inspections on steel structures during fabrication and erection.
- Verifies compliance with drawings, codes, and client specifications.
- Prepares inspection and test reports (ITRs) and coordinates with client representatives.
- Ensures corrective actions are implemented for nonconformities.
