The
Lifting Supervisor is responsible for the
safe planning and execution of all lifting, hoisting, and rigging activities in steel erection and related works. This role ensures that all lifting operations are conducted safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and validate lifting operations, including crane setup, load charts, and exclusion zones.
- Supervise riggers, crane operators, and signalmen during lifting activities.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, equipment inspection, and documentation requirements.
- Conduct toolbox meetings, pre-lift checks, and stop operations when unsafe conditions are observed.
- Coordinate with site engineers and safety officers to ensure smooth and safe lifting operations.
