Develops, implement, audits and checks standards and methods of inspection, testing, verification, and evaluation of raw materials, processes, work instructions, WIP, and finished goods
Develops and improves quality assurance plans by conducting hazard analysis, checking control points, monitoring procedures and auditing/monitoring corrective and preventive actions
Validates quality processes by establishing product specifications for raw materials and acceptable quality attributes; documents evidences; and updating documentations
Suggests and improves product quality by auditing production processes, investigating customer complaints and collaborating with other departments to improve/develop products and designs
Documents, updates, revises, files and reports quality learnings, lessons, test results, process standards, AQL, rejects rates and categories, preventive actions monitoring, etc. This is done by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends including failed processes, stability issues, manufacturability issues, rejects, corrective and preventive actions, returns and reworks
Interfaces with other departments and the internal trainer to develop and implement training programs as required
Recruits, selects, orients, trains, assigns, schedules, coaches, counsels and disciplines QA Inspectors. Communicates job expectations then plan, monitors, appraise and review job contributions. Enforces policies and procedures
Directs QA Auditors in measuring and testing and tabulates the data concerning materials, processes, work instructions, WIP and FG
Other duties that may be assigned from time to time
