Job Description
QA Lead
Must Have (Skills):
. Proven experience leading a QA team and building automation frameworks
. Selenium, Playwright, Cucumber, or equivalent
. API testing (Postman, SoapUI)
. Strong grasp of test strategy, coverage, and defect management
Nice to Have (Skills):
. P&C insurance concepts
. OOP principles and Java
. CI/CD and quality gates
. Guidewire certification(s)
. Performance and security testing
Responsibilities:
. Lead design and maintenance of automation frameworks for Guidewire apps
. Turn business requirements and acceptance criteria into test plans
. Partner with developers on coverage and early defect detection
. Analyze results and quality metrics to drive release decisions
. Run API testing and embed tests in CI/CD
. Mentor the team and set testing standards
