About The Role
We seek an experienced Senior QA Engineer to take full ownership of our quality assurance strategy. You will be empowered to architect, implement, and lead the entire testing effort across our modern stack, ensuring long-term scalability and robust quality within our Agile workflow.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish & Lead Frameworks: Design and implement a complete, scalable QA framework and strategy from scratch, focusing on long-term maintainability and performance across the entire testing pyramid.
- End-to-End Mastery: Serve as the subject matter expert in E2E testing, primarily utilizing Playwright with TypeScript for our Angular frontend.
- Full-Stack Coverage: Implement comprehensive API testing strategies for our .NET (C#) backend and FastAPI (Python) microservices as well as front-end (Angular, Ionic) frameworks.
- Agile Collaboration: Actively participate in the Agile development cycle (sprint planning, retrospectives), integrating quality checks early and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.
- Observability & Monitoring: Integrate testing and quality metrics with production monitoring tools (e.g., Datadog, Prometheus) to ensure the accuracy of the test environment and rapid issue triage.
Essential Requirements
- Playwright Proficiency: Extensive, hands-on experience using Playwright with TypeScript to build, maintain, and scale complex E2E test suites.
- QA Architect: Minimum 5+ years in a QA Engineering role, including significant experience establishing a test automation framework from scratch using robust, scalable testing techniques.
- Comprehensive Testing: Proven expertise in designing and implementing a full testing pyramid, including dedicated API testing for various backend services.
- Agile & Autonomy: Strong familiarity with the Agile development cycle and a demonstrated ability to work independently, taking full ownership of project delivery.
- Remote Team Collaboration & Availability: Proven ability to excel at collaborating with a fully remote team. Candidates must be available during the following core overlap window with our South African team:
Work Schedule (Midshift)
- Monday to Friday (12PM-9PM; Manila Time)
Work Setup (WFH)
- Permanent Homebased
- Candidate's are expected to have a conducive (quiet, distraction-free) dedicated workspace
- Equipment will be provided by the company
