Job Description

The Associate Quality Assurance Engineer is responsible for supporting the quality and reliability of Landmark Platform through structured testing and validation activities. This role involves designing and executing test cases and test scripts, validating defect fixes, and accurately documenting test results.

The Associate QA Engineer also assists in the development, maintenance, and enhancement of automated test scripts. Working closely with software developers and cross-functional teams, the role helps identify defects early in the development cycle and supports timely resolution. This position contributes to the organization's quality assurance goals by following best testing practices and helping deliver high-quality software solutions.

A Day in The Life Typically Includes:

* Learning and understanding product features, business workflows, and system requirements.
* Executing manual and automated test cases for new and existing application features.
* Developing, maintaining, and optimizing automation scripts to improve test efficiency and coverage.
* Reporting, tracking, and validating defects using tools such as JIRA.
* Collaborating with developers, product owners, and fellow QA team members to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
* Participating in Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
* Installing, configuring, and managing QA tools, test environments, and software dependencies.
* Requesting and managing access to test environments and system dashboards.
* Documenting test results and contributing to test strategies, test plans, and QA documentation.
* Continuously learning and adopting best practices in software testing and automation.
* Reporting progress, risks, and blockers to the QA Supervisor.

What You Will Need:

* Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Background with Java and/or JavaScript programming.
* Background with automation testing.
* Background of QA methodologies, testing techniques, and defect lifecycle management.
* Ability to analyze requirements and define complete test coverage.

* Experience with automation tools (e.g. Cypress, Selenium).
* Ability to analyze requirements and define complete test coverage.
* Experience using or integrating AI-assisted testing or AI productivity tools (e.g. Test automation with GenAI, AI-based code analysis, AI-powered test case generation).
* Strong logical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to effectively plan workload and meet project deadlines.
* Strong teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills.
