About The Role
We are looking for a QA Developer with 3+ years of experience to join our remote team. This is not a traditional gate-at-the-end QA role. You will be embedded in delivery from requirements through to production, working in fast cycles alongside engineers and product owners.
We are building toward an AI-driven engineering model where QA shifts from script execution to intelligent validation, reviewing AI-generated test plans, assessing coverage quality, and making fast judgement calls in short delivery cycles. If you want to be part of that evolution, this is the role.
What You'll Do
- Participate in requirements elaboration from the start, not just end-stage testing
- Review and validate AI-generated test scenarios and identify coverage gaps before execution
- Develop, maintain, and extend automation test suites using our Playwright stack
- Assess Non-Functional Requirements test coverage: load, security, and performance scenarios
- Identify, record, and track bugs with clear reproduction steps and severity assessment
- Assist with regression testing and maintaining the regression suite
- Operate effectively in short, high-velocity delivery cycles, not 2-week gate reviews
- Participate in scrum rituals: story refinements, planning, and walkthroughs
What You'll Bring
Required
- 3+ years of QA experience with strong automation skills
- Hands-on experience with Playwright: building and extending test suites, not just running them
- Ability to evaluate whether AI-generated or human-authored test plans have adequate coverage
- Experience writing automated test scripts in JavaScript
- Experience creating tests for RESTful APIs
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines; GitLab preferred
Advantageous:
- Experience reviewing NFR test scenarios (load, performance, DAST)
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools or workflows
- Experience with Browser test management tooling or something similar
