This full-time role is based in Mandaluyong City on a full-time on-site work arrangement.
Responsibilities
- Help locate the best quality products at the most favorable purchase price, and calculate costs, margins, profits and formulas.
- Maintain positive relationships with growers, wholesalers and carriers.
- Assist with looking for new suppliers.
- Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers.
- Solve any problems arising from product quality or availability with a positive attitude, tact and diplomacy, to achieve the best possible outcome.
- Inform the Corporate Sales and Commercial Team about market availability on a regular basis.
- Maintain regular contact with the purchasing manager, marketing staff, field office staff and other purchasing staff.
- Other tasks that may be assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineer or any related course.
- At least 1 year experience in Procurement or any other related position.
- Knowledge of Microsoft programs or Google applications.
- Excellent communication skills both written and oral.
- Can handle pressure.
