Job Description
Property Manager oversees the daily operations, maintenance, and
financial performance of residential or commercial properties. They serve as
the primary liaison between property owners and tenants, responsible for rent
collection, marketing vacancies, tenant screening, leasing, property upkeep,
and staff supervision.
Key Responsibilities
Tenant Relations: Manage tenant relationships,
address complaints, and resolve disputes.
Leasing & Marketing: Advertise
vacancies, screen applicants, and negotiate lease renewals or terminations.
Financial Management: Set and
collect rent, manage operating budgets, track expenses, and prepare financial
reports.
Maintenance & Operations: Schedule
repairs, conduct inspections, manage vendors (landscaping, security), and
ensure building safety.
Legal Compliance: Ensure adherence to local,
state, and federal housing laws and regulations.
Staff Supervision: Manage
on-site personnel like maintenance, security, and leasing staff.
