What does an IT Project Manager do
An IT Project Manager oversees the planning and delivery of technology projects across Sealed Air. This role will coordinate with global teams, manage project budgets and risks, support deployment and change management activities, and ensure endusers are ready through testing and training. This role will also keep stakeholders informed, resolve project issues, and bridge communication between technical and business teams to ensure successful project execution.

- Work with global teams including internal SEE employees, third-party experts, and onshore and offshore contract resources
- Financial management of the approved funding and planned financial requirements (funding approvals, financial forecasting, vendor management, purchasing and invoice management)
- Risk management (risk registers and mitigation planning)
- Deployment planning
- Change management and managing project readiness
- Coordinating end user testing and training programs
- Communication of project status updates
- Maintaining issues logs, resolution planning and communication
- Support other portfolio project managers
- Liaise between technical resources, business resources, and other functions to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of solutions deployed
- Present complex functional and technical concepts across multiple levels of the global organization in clear, simple terms to optimize communication and alignment
What are we looking for in you
- University educated (BA/BS)
- PMP (Project Management Professional) designation or equivalent preferred
- Strong verbal and written communications; ability to analyze large volumes of information and define the big picture
- Strong analytical abilities
- Business and financial acumen
- Experience in working with internal and external, local and global team members to deliver results
- Can work effectively with remote teams across multiple time zones
- Experience in Six Sigma, Lean or other process-oriented techniques
