Job Description

  • Multiple Contract opportunities - 6-9 months
  • Working for an Australian software development company
  • Remote - WFH setup working Australian Time-Zone

As the Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end implementation of software products and services across multiple projects and customers.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management

  • Plan project activities and align resource availability with the Program to manage identified project issues and risks.
  • Responsible for running between 3-7 projects at any one time across different customers.
  • Execute multiple projects at different lifecycle stages using best practice PMO methodology
  • Closes the projects with proper handover to the support team.
  • Works with Confluence, Jira and Microsoft Project to ensure accurate documentation, ticket, task and sprint monitoring, timeliness assessment and risk management.

Risk Management & Process Improvement

  • Monitor and control activities by identifying potential risks and issues in each project and calling out or escalating to the proper channels.
  • Assess issues for escalation in order to control project delays and timeline slippage.
  • Continuously refines and enhances project management practices to improve efficiency and outcomes.

Communication & Collaboration

  • Manages overall communication for project activities and updates, ensuring all project stakeholders are aligned on ongoing and upcoming activities, as well as impacts on project resources, timeline, quality, and cost.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, including software developers, QA engineers, and business analysts, to ensure seamless execution.
  • Foster a collaborative culture across project teams and other departments.

Experience

  • 5-7 years implementing ERP projects with exceptional project management capabilities and experience, combined with strong business analysis and change management skills. Experience working in a functional consultant capacity is highly regarded.
  • Project Management qualifications and experience using project management methodologies such as Prince 2, Scrum or Kanban or similar is highly desirable
  • Proven experience working in an Agile environment, ways of working and Agile squad.
  • An understanding of the full lifecycle implementation and upgrade experience across multiple projects.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and effectively to a range of stakeholders.
  • A collaborative spirit and the drive to solve complex problems with a customer-first, customer-centric mindset.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and be solution-oriented with strong attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in project management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and Microsoft Office Suite.
