Project Manager

The Project Manager for Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project is responsible for leading the planning, execution, and successful delivery of BESS plant construction and installation projects, from initial development through commissioning and BESS commercial operation. This role involves coordination across different functional teams, managing project schedules and budgets, and ensuring-that all project objectives are achieved efficiently and effectively. The Project Manager is also accountable for maintaining compliance with applicable safety, quality, environmental, and regulatory requirements while fostering strong collaboration among stakeholders to ensure project success.

Job Description:

• Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets for BESS projects.
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
• Lead site engineers, project teams, and contractors to achieve project milestones.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
• Identify project risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.
• Monitor construction quality and ensure adherence to BESS installation standards.
• Prepare project progress reports, maintain documentation, and track project performance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; PMP certification is an advantage.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience managing Renewable Energy or BESS construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of battery energy storage systems (BESS), electrical engineering, renewable energy, and power substation construction.
• Proficient in project management tools and methodologies.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Proven experience leading project teams and contractors to deliver projects safely, on time, and within quality standards.
• Willing to be assigned to the Navotas BESS Project Site.
