  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to mentor, support, and develop Project Managers and Research Executives
  • Flexible, organised approach with strong planning, multitasking, time management, prioritisation, and delegation skills
  • Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to identify issues early and develop effective solutions
  • Excellent understanding of operational market research best practice, data collection quality, and project delivery standards
  • Understanding of quantitative methodologies, including CATI, online, mixed methodology, digital recruitment, and desk research capabilities
  • Understanding of international survey research, multilingual and multicultural best practice, local legislation, and relevant industry guidelines
  • Good knowledge of applicable market research standards, codes of conduct, and legislation, including ISO 20252, ISO 27001, GDPR, MRS, IQCS, ESOMAR, EphMRA, BHBIA, and other relevant standards where applicable
  • Competent user of Microsoft Office, including Excel; proficiency with data collection tools and ability to adapt to new technologies quickly
  • Commercial acumen, with the ability to manage project budgets, monitor costs, and contribute to company performance
  • Versatile, enthusiastic, tenacious, detail-oriented, and able to work well with others in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of other languages and cultures advantageous

Core duties:

• Serving as the primary point of contact for clients from project initiation through completion;

• Acting as the main liaison for clients during the fieldwork phase, ensuring clear, consistent, and timely communication;

• Attending kick-off meetings with clients and internal teams to align on project objectives, expectations, timelines, and responsibilities;

• Developing, reviewing, and testing screeners, discussion guides, questionnaires, and programmed surveys for best practice data collection;

• Working closely with internal scripting, translation, testing, data processing, and fieldwork teams to ensure milestones and deadlines are met efficiently;

• Conducting internal briefings and ensuring project teams are fully informed about goals, tasks, timelines, and quality expectations;

• Managing communication and collaboration with external partners and vendors during fieldwork;

• Maintaining high-quality data collection across projects and ensuring compliance with relevant market research standards, codes, and regulations;

• Gaining a thorough understanding of sampling methods, client objectives, and project requirements to ensure accurate and reliable delivery;

• Managing project budgets effectively, monitoring costs, tracking project profitability, and overseeing outsourcing to remain within financial limits;

• Recognising potential barriers and delivery risks before or during projects and proactively proposing effective solutions;

• Leading crisis management during critical project phases and resolving issues quickly and professionally;

• Delivering value-added client support, adapting client objectives to RONIN best practice while replicating preferred client ways of working where efficient and appropriate;

• Handling a diverse mix of qualitative and quantitative projects, including online, CATI, digital, and mixed-methodology projects;

• Accurately completing administration to wind down projects, capture learnings, and support continuous improvement.

Senior Project Manager responsibilities:

• Mentoring Project Managers and Research Executives, providing guidance and support to enhance professional development and team performance;

• Developing and implementing project strategies aligned with client objectives and company goals;

• Acting as a senior point of contact for key clients and senior stakeholders, providing strategic insight and tailored recommendations;

• Supporting the selection, interviewing, and integration of new Project Management team members where required;

• Acting as a role model for RONIN values, including Curiosity, Transparency, Collaboration, Inclusivity, and Resourcefulness.
