Project Manager

The Project Manager for Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project is responsible for leading the planning, execution, and successful delivery of BESS plant construction and installation projects, from initial development through commissioning and BESS commercial operation. This role involves coordination across different functional teams, managing project schedules and budgets, and ensuring that all project objectives are achieved efficiently and effectively. The Project Manager is also accountable for maintaining compliance with applicable safety, quality, environmental, and regulatory requirements while fostering strong collaboration among stakeholders to ensure project success.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and manage BESS project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure timely delivery.
• Lead contractors, suppliers, and project teams throughout all project phases.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, environmental, and regulatory standards.
• Identify project risks, implement mitigation plans, and resolve project issues.
• Monitor construction quality and provide regular project progress and performance reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; PMP certification is an advantage.
• At least 5 years of experience managing Renewable Energy or BESS construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of BESS, electrical engineering, renewable energy, and power substation construction.
• Proficient in project management tools with strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Willing to be relocated to the Pililla BESS Project Site.
