What You Will Do
- Accountable for the effective delivery of projects for streams and businesses
- Deliver effective and clear reporting of progress; providing sound updates to stakeholders and executives.
- Prepare and maintaining all project lifecycle documentation
- Show ownership and management of project risks and issues, ensuring the correct escalation route is followed. Proactively identify delivery and support problems
- Clearly communicate expectations to team members and stakeholders.
- Build collaborative relationships
- Have the ability to create and manage on-going roadmaps
- Be comfortable in leading Governance Meeting with the goal of driving action and/or get agreements.
- Clearly communicate concepts tailored to target audience from subject matter experts to executives.
- Manage changes, ensuring any changes are assessed; impact and way forward are agreed with the correct parties.
What You Should Have
- At least 5 years of project management experience; demonstrated ability to lead deliver and implement projects. Preferably from Banks and Financial institutions.
- Previous experience of balancing multiple priorities and dealing with ambiguity
- Familiar with project management and agile delivery methodologies and toolsets.
- You have a pragmatic approach in applying what is apt for the nature of the project and organization.
- Experience of managing change
- Experience in leading Steering Committees or Governance calls
- Experience with MS Project, Jira, and Confluence or other Agile tools
