Job Description

The Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and delivering cross-functional projects that support the acquisition, integration, quality, and delivery of property-related data products. The role coordinates across operations, engineering, data teams, and business stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives.

This role plays a key part in managing expectations of the US team regarding Envirosite data management, including ETL, database and data updates, processing timelines, productivity, and geocoding quality and accuracy.

The Project Manager must be comfortable working across business units, including US stakeholders, solutions development, data, application support, and infrastructure teams. A positive, collaborative approach is essential to motivate team members and continuously recommend process improvements.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Data & Product Focus

  • Manage Projects involving the following:

- Property records (environmental, land use, class codes, etc.)

- Government and third-party data sources.

- Data normalization, validation, and enrichment workflows.

- SaaS or data-delivery platforms (APIs, dashboards, reports)

- Ensure data quality standards, SLAs, and delivery timelines are met.

  • Risk, Issue & Change Management

- Identify project risks, dependencies, and constraints early.

- Proactively resolve issues or escalate when necessary.

- Manage scope changes and ensure alignment with business priorities.

- Maintain clear documentation of decisions, assumptions, and changes.

  • Serves as a liaison and primary interface (both internal and external) for works related to ETL, geocoding, and GIS data updates.
  • Ensures customer satisfaction by managing the details of overall production/project schedules, and deliverables.
  • Drives the PH team and aligns with US team to achieve productivity and quality targets.
  • Identifies and resolves conflicting requirements; and adeptly deals with differing opinions and conflicts within the PH team and with the US team.
  • Collaborate with respective teams in managing and resolving issues, including root-cause analysis (RCA) and post-mortem reports.
  • Reports periodic updates to stakeholders (PH and US) during regular meetings.
  • Coaches, motivates and guides the team to ensure alignment with defined goals.
  • Identifies risks and works with the team to plan for risk mitigation and actions.
  • Ensures compliance to company rules and regulations.

Required Competencies:

  • Experience in property, environmental, real estate due diligence, or GIS data, including working knowledge of GIS and geocoding tools (e.g., ArcGIS, HERE).
  • Familiarity with SaaS platforms, APIs, data pipelines, and regulatory or government data sources.
  • Strong project delivery focus with proven skills in estimation, scope, risk, and issue management.
  • Experience using project management tools such as Jira, Smartsheet, Asana, Monday.com, or similar.
  • PMP, CAPM, Agile, or similar project management certification preferred.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of a 4-year degree preferably in Geography, Geospatial Information Science, Information Technology, or GIS Data Engineering.
  • At least four (4) years of relevant project management experience; experience working with GIS systems is an advantage.
  • Demonstrated management capability, preferably with prior exposure to GIS-related projects or environments.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and principles.
  • Project Management, SCRUM, or similar certifications are an advantage.
