Role Overview

The Project Development Specialist serves as the feet on the ground for our off-grid energy projects. You will manage the end-to-end land acquisition and permitting process, ensuring all documentation is compliant and project timelines are met through proactive field and administrative support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Land Due Diligence: Conduct site inspections and secure essential land documents (Titles, Tax Declarations, Cadastral Maps).
  • Permitting: Prepare and expedite applications for ECC, Land Use Conversion (LUC), Zoning, and LGU Endorsements by coordinating with the DENR, DAR, and NCIP.
  • Stakeholder Relations: Act as the primary liaison for local community leaders and assist in negotiating Right-of-Way (ROW) agreements.
  • Project Tracking: Manage permitting Gantt charts and coordinate with Legal/Finance for fee payments and weekly reporting.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Geodetic Engineering, Real Estate Management, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • Experience: 2–4 years in permitting or land acquisition, preferably in energy or real estate.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of the Philippine permitting landscape; high attention to detail; fluent in English and Filipino (Cebuano is a plus).
  • Attributes: High physical stamina for field travel, resilient in navigating bureaucracy, and capable of building rapport with diverse stakeholders.
