Responsible for leading stakeholder engagement initiatives with local government units, communities, and government and non-government organizations to support the successful development of energy projects. The role develops engagement strategies, manages consultations and public hearings, and ensures effective communication with key stakeholders to facilitate permitting and project acceptance. It works closely with business development and cross-functional teams to address stakeholder concerns and support project implementation. The position also assists in conflict resolution, crisis management, and reputation management initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Political Science, Public Administration, or related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in stakeholder relations, community engagement, or government relations, preferably in infrastructure or energy sectors.
  • Proven track record in managing stakeholder consultations, community engagement programs, and public relations activities.
  • Familiarity with government processes, regulatory frameworks, and permitting requirements.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with strong political awareness.
