We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented
Project Architect with at least 5 years of professional experience to support the delivery of high-quality architectural projects. This role requires a strong technical foundation, advanced documentation skills, and the ability to translate design intent into precise, buildable solutions.
The ideal candidate is confident working independently, highly proficient in industry tools, and experienced in commercial, multi-family, or country club projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce high-quality construction drawings and documentation aligned with firm standards, including graphic presentation and detailing requirements.
- Develop and document complex architectural details such as wall sections, assemblies, and constructability solutions.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of real-world construction by designing and detailing prior to modeling.
- Create and manage accurate 3D models in Revit and prepare coordinated 2D drawings in AutoCAD.
- Utilize freehand sketching to effectively communicate design intent, detailing concepts, and technical solutions.
- Ensure consistency with the firm's Book of Standards and contribute to its continuous improvement.
- Collaborate closely with project leaders and team members to meet project timelines, quality benchmarks, and deliverables.
- Participate in technical reviews, redlining, and drawing coordination to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Support internal training initiatives, including exercises in sketching, detailing, visualization, drafting, and modeling.
- Work independently to execute drawings with minimal supervision.
- Assist in reconstructing or redrawing project documentation when needed due to missing or incomplete files.
- Contribute to improving team workflows, standards, and evaluation processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in architectural design and documentation
- Strong experience in commercial, multi-family, or country club projects
- Advanced proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD
- Working knowledge of Bluebeam and BIM 360
- Strong understanding of construction detailing and documentation standards
- Excellent freehand sketching and visualization skills
