We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Glass Estimator to support estimating and project coordination for commercial and residential glazing projects. This role is ideal for someone with strong industry knowledge who can accurately interpret plans, prepare quotations, and contribute to smooth project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review project drawings, specifications, and bid documents for glass/glazing scopes
- Prepare accurate cost estimates, material takeoffs, and quotations
- Analyze labor, materials, hardware, and installation requirements
- Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and internal teams for pricing and lead times
- Support drafting and project coordination as needed
- Maintain organized bid files, estimate records, and project documentation
- Assist in reviewing project changes, revisions, and value engineering opportunities
- Ensure estimates are completed accurately and within deadlines
What We're Looking For:
- 3+ years of experience in glass/glazing estimating, drafting, project coordination, or related field
- Experience with storefront, entrances, curtainwall, shower doors, mirrors, railings, or specialty glass systems
- AutoCAD experience preferred
- Experience with Bluebeam, PlanSwift, or takeoff software preferred
- Familiarity with systems such as YKK, Kawneer, CRL, Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope, or similar products preferred
- Strong ability to read construction drawings and specifications
- High attention to detail with strong numerical accuracy
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote setup
