As a Product Owner in Home Lending Capital Markets, you lead the technology roadmap and prioritize work that delivers outcomes for customers and the business. You partner with cross-functional teams to translate needs into actionable plans and measurable results. Together, we make data-informed decisions, champion a security-first mindset, and continuously improve experiences across Secondary Marketing, Mortgage Servicing Rights, Portfolio, and Loan Delivery.

Job Responsibilities

  • Set and deliver the technology vision and roadmap for Home Lending Capital Markets.
  • Define and report product objectives and key results to guide outcomes.
  • Make data-informed decisions that drive business performance and financial results.
  • Maintain deep understanding of customer and user journeys to inform prioritization.
  • Validate features to ensure they solve client and user problems end to end.
  • Build strong partnerships with upstream and downstream technology and business teams.
  • Apply disciplined project management across multiple initiatives to ensure delivery.
  • Champion a security-first mindset and lead work on controls, compliance, and audit readiness.
  • Lead, coach, and retain a high-performing cross-functional team with clear accountability.
  • Facilitate requirements discussions, translate needs into a prioritized roadmap, and measure success.
  • Partner with Business Management on budgeting, forecasting, compliance, reporting, and automation.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or Management Information Systems.
  • 3 years of team management experience.
  • Strategic thinking with the ability to interpret market trends.
  • Experience with Agile product management and backlog tools such as Jira and Confluence.
  • Experience with scaled Agile frameworks.
  • Process organization and release readiness planning experience.
  • Strong audit, operational risk, and controls mindset.
  • Stakeholder engagement, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to work to defined timelines and delivery schedules.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel with macro creation and Visual Basic for Applications.
  • Budget and finance management experience.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills

  • Python programming experience.
  • Experience in Home Lending Capital Markets, including Secondary Marketing, Mortgage Servicing Rights, Portfolio, and Loan Delivery.
  • Hands-on experience preparing for audits and control testing.
  • Experience contributing to business management activities such as budgeting, forecasting, compliance, reporting, and automation.
  • Familiarity with objectives and key results practices and product metrics.
  • Experience mentoring Product Owners and scrum teams.
  • Certification in Agile practices or Lean methods.
