Product Owner

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with Product Managers to engage internal and external stakeholders to gather, analyze, and define business and system requirements aligned with user needs.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Solution Engineering Leads, Architects, and UX teams to translate functional and non-functional requirements into clear technical user stories.
• Support backlog management and grooming, ensuring prioritization of features, technical requirements, and non-functional needs (e.g., tech debt, security, compliance, data retention, regulatory requirements).
• Develop story maps and define MVP milestones in collaboration with key stakeholders to provide a clear roadmap and delivery direction.
• Work closely with cross-functional Agile teams to manage dependencies and overlapping priorities.
• Partner with Scrum Masters and teams to remove blockers, identify risks, and ensure smooth delivery.
• Facilitate sprint ceremonies, lead backlog refinement sessions, and clarify requirements throughout the sprint lifecycle.
• Support bug triage, production issue resolution, and prioritization of fixes.
• Participate in UAT and support validation activities, including performance testing where applicable.
• Ensure timely delivery of release plans and agreed outcomes.
• Escalate risks, issues, and dependencies to relevant stakeholders including Architects, Product Managers, and PMO as needed.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience as a Product Owner or in product development roles with strong focus on requirements gathering and feature definition
• Strong background in business analysis, product discovery, and user story writing
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to drive alignment and decision-making
• Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability
• Ability to work in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
• Comfortable managing multiple priorities and working with global/virtual teams
• Strong time management and ability to meet deadlines
• Detail-oriented with a structured and organized approach to work
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience
• Experience with tools like Confluence and Azure DevOps is a plus
