About The Job
The AI Product Owner manages the business interests in our IT scrum teams. He is responsible in turning AI goals into deliverables in the form of user stories. They collaborate with product owners, data scientists, engineers, and designers to validate customer journeys, review model outputs, refine wireframes, and give business context for decisions. The role oversees development to meet ethical, compliance, and business standards, resolves incidents, collects feedback, monitors performance, benchmarks practices, and drives ongoing AI optimization across the organization.
What You Will Do
- Creates and maintains the AI product roadmap, understands business goals, and suggests AI-driven solutions.
- Organizes regular alignment and prioritization with stream leaders and key department SPOCs to ensure AI initiatives are on track.
- Creates and manages product documentation for AI features and keeps it updated and accessible for the entire company.
- Uses proper tools and workflow to run regular scrum events such as Sprint Retrospectives, Sprint Reviews, and Daily Standups.
- Maintains product backlog with properly described user stories and EPICs.
- Educates stakeholders about scrum practices and proper workflows.
- Communicates effectively with stakeholders and the scrum team.
- Leads and motivates the team for optimal performance.
- Prefers data-driven decisions over opinion-driven ones.
- Actively seeks opportunities for AI product optimization and improvements based on gathered data (user feedback, analytics).
- Defines strategy and ensures execution for AI initiatives.
- Shapes and defines the AI product's purpose and functions.
- Leads, coaches, and motivates team members on a proactive basis.
- Clearly communicates expectations to team members and stakeholders.
- Acts as a mediator between stakeholders and team members.
- Shares best practices within the HC community (including HC group).
- Actively supports an open company culture and values (focus on results, innovation, entrepreneurship, fairness).
What You Should Have
- Minimum of 5 years proven experience as a Product Owner, preferably in AI-driven product environments.
- Extensive hands-on experience with Agile and SCRUM delivery methodologies, including leading cross-functional teams in iterative product development cycles.
- Demonstrated track record of owning and delivering successful customer-facing digital products, with a strong preference for those involving AI technologies.
- Experience managing and launching mobile application-based products is highly desirable.
- Expertise in shaping, articulating, and communicating a clear product vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with organizational objectives and user needs.
- Proven ability to translate complex business requirements into actionable user stories, epics, and product backlogs, specifically for AI-enabled solutions.
- Strong experience managing the end-to-end product development lifecycle, including backlog prioritization and release planning based on both business value and customer impact.
- Ability to collaborate with stakeholders to define business cases and value propositions for AI products.
- Demonstrated proficiency in leveraging data analytics and user feedback to drive continuous product optimization and inform decision making.
- Solid understanding of digital frameworks, with expertise in AI, machine learning, and data-driven product ecosystems.
- Strong program and project management skills; prior experience in business product ownership is an asset.
- Proven leadership in managing and mentoring teams, fostering a collaborative, high-performance environment.
- Strategic, operational, and management abilities, with a demonstrated capacity to adapt swiftly to changing environments and shifting priorities.
- Exceptional communication, leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior management and cross-departmental teams.
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written; additional language skills are a plus.
