Job Description

Role Summary

The Product Owner / Business Analyst plays a key role in delivering high-quality software solutions by bridging business needs and technical delivery. This role works closely with product managers, stakeholders, and agile development teams to define requirements, prioritize work, and ensure solutions deliver clear business value.

You will be responsible for translating business goals into clear user stories, guiding the team through discovery and delivery, and supporting testing and release activities in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Product & Requirements Management

  • Lead discovery and requirements-gathering activities with business stakeholders
  • Translate business needs into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional requirements
  • Maintain and prioritize the product backlog based on business value, risks, and dependencies
  • Support sprint planning, backlog refinement, and release planning activities
  • Clarify scope, assumptions, and trade-offs to support informed decision-making

Delivery & Team Collaboration

  • Work closely with developers, testers, and designers to ensure shared understanding of requirements
  • Support development teams throughout the software development lifecycle
  • Review and validate test cases to ensure alignment with requirements
  • Triage and help prioritize defects and production issues
  • Participate in demos and reviews to gather stakeholder feedback

Stakeholder & Communication

  • Act as the primary link between business and technical teams
  • Facilitate discussions and workshops with stakeholders across different levels
  • Communicate priorities, risks, and progress clearly and effectively
  • Support continuous improvement of team processes and ways of working

Qualifications and Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role
  • Strong experience in Agile/Scrum software development environments
  • Proven ability to write clear user stories and acceptance criteria
  • Experience managing and prioritizing a product or feature backlog
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Basic understanding of system design, integrations, and data flows
  • Experience supporting testing and release activities
  • Ability to work in a remote or multi-time-zone environment
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
