Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Purchasing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management, preferably in a managerial role.
- Minimum of 1 year of procurement experience, preferably in healthcare, clinic, hospital, or medical operations , other field experiences are welcome.
- Strong negotiation, vendor management, and contract management skills.
- Knowledge of procurement best practices, inventory management, and sourcing strategies.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and procurement/ERP systems.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- High attention to detail, integrity, and organizational skills.
Job Description
The Procurement Manager for Clinic Operations is responsible for managing and overseeing the procurement activities related to clinic operations, including medical supplies, equipment, pharmaceuticals, office supplies, and operational services. The role ensures timely, cost-effective, and compliant purchasing while maintaining quality standards to support efficient clinic operations and patient care services.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to support clinic operational requirements.
- Source, evaluate, negotiate, and manage suppliers for medical and non-medical supplies and services.
- Ensure timely procurement and availability of clinic supplies, medical equipment, pharmaceuticals, and operational materials.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with clinic departments to prevent shortages and overstocking.
- Conduct vendor accreditation, performance evaluation, and contract management.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and service agreements to achieve cost savings and operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, healthcare regulations, and accreditation standards.
- Coordinate with Finance, Operations, Warehouse, and Clinic Management regarding purchasing requirements and budget utilization.
- Prepare procurement reports, cost analyses, and supplier performance reports for management review.
- Monitor market trends, supplier pricing, and alternative sourcing opportunities.
- Lead and supervise procurement staff and ensure proper implementation of procurement processes.
- Support audit requirements and maintain accurate procurement documentation and records.
