Overview of the Role:
Procurement Managerwill lead IT-related purchasing operations and ensure smooth sourcing of hardware, software, and services. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in negotiation, vendor management, and delivering cost-efficient solutions.
Job Responsibilities:
Purchasing Operations
- Manage requests for IT contracts (maintenance, subscriptions, etc.)
- Coordinate with business units and IT teams on specifications and SLAs
- Source and evaluate authorized vendors
- Lead bidding activities and review contracts
- Negotiate best terms and pricing
- Prepare approval documents for top management
Team Supervision
- Provide guidance and oversight to junior procurement staff
Vendor & Stakeholder Management
- Ensure timely delivery of goods and services
- Act as liaison between vendors and internal teams
- Resolve queries and issues promptly
Administrative Support
- Maintain organized procurement records
- Generate reports on savings and status updates
- Handle ad hoc tasks as needed
Job Requirements:
- Graduate of any 4-year business course
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in procurement (preferably in banking or consumer industry); supervisory experience is a plus
- Strong negotiation and organizational skills
- Proficient in MS Office and internet tools
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- English fluency: Chinese language is an advantage
