KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Procurement Operations
2. Compliance & Process Improvement
Oversee day-to-day procurement activities to ensure timely, cost-effective, and quality purchasing.
Review and approve purchase requisitions, supplier contracts, and related documentation.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with relevant departments to maintain optimal stock availability.
Implement best practices in sourcing, supplier evaluation, and vendor negotiations.
Establish, implement, and enforce procurement policies, procedures, and standards.
Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost efficiencies in procurement operations.
Monitor and report departmental KPIs, providing management with insights and recommendations for improvement.
3. Team Leadership & Management
Supervise, guide, and evaluate subordinates, ensuring clear task delegation and accountability.
Provide coaching, training, and professional development opportunities to strengthen the team's skills and capabilities.
Conduct regular team meetings to align objectives, review progress, and address challenges.
Foster a collaborative work culture that promotes teamwork, communication, and problem-solving.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration
Coordinate with other departments to support operational requirements and organizational priorities.
Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless workflow and alignment with business objectives.
5. Perform other related responsibilities as may be assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or related field.
2. Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in procurement or supply chain, with proven vendor management and strategic sourcing experience.
3. Strong knowledge of forecasting, budgeting, and procurement analytics.
4. Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
