We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Phlebotomy Training Manager to lead the training and competency development of our phlebotomy team. This role is critical in ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality blood collection procedures across all branches. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical knowledge, a passion for teaching, and a commitment to professional excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and evaluate training programs for new and existing phlebotomists.
- Conduct hands-on training, assessments, and skills validation.
- Ensure compliance with DOH standards and internal quality protocols.
- Monitor and improve phlebotomy techniques, safety protocols, and patient care practices.
- Provide regular feedback, coaching, and performance evaluation for trainees.
- Collaborate with Quality and Operations teams to identify training needs and gaps.
- Lead continuing education efforts to support career growth and certification renewals.
- Maintain accurate training records and reports for regulatory and internal audits.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, or equivalent allied health profession.
- Must be a Registered Medical Technologist
- At least 3 years of hands-on phlebotomy experience, preferably in a clinical laboratory or diagnostic setting.
- Previous experience in training, mentoring, or supervisory roles is an advantage.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and committed to service excellence.
