In this position, you will collaborate with internal stakeholders, payroll providers, and colleagues across global QIAGEN locations to deliver high-quality payroll services. About The Opportunity
Join QIAGEN as a Payroll Specialist and play a key role in ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely payroll operations across multiple international markets. In this position, you will collaborate with internal stakeholders, payroll providers, and colleagues across global QIAGEN locations to deliver high-quality payroll services. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys working in a dynamic multinational environment and is driven by continuous improvement and process optimization.
Your tasks include
- Execute day-to-day payroll operations and related activities for assigned countries and markets while maintaining high service standards.
- Prepare, validate, and reconcile payroll-related data to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Coordinate payroll deliverables with internal teams in QIAGEN Manila, international QIAGEN offices, and external payroll providers.
- Ensure the timely completion of payroll processing activities, including approvals, validations, and milestone tracking.
- Support payroll accounting activities, including reconciliations, audits, and reporting requirements.
- Identify opportunities to improve payroll processes, enhance efficiency, and support automation initiatives.
- Maintain accurate payroll records and contribute to compliance with applicable regulations and company policies.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in a multinational payroll and/or finance environment, preferably supporting multiple countries.
- Strong payroll processing knowledge, particularly in supporting global payroll operations.
- Experience in payroll accounting, including reconciliations and audit support.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.
- Experience with ADP, Workday, and/or SAP is an advantage.
- Willing to work in a mid-shift (EMEA) schedule within a hybrid work setup
