Paralegal

Location: Cebu/Clark/Tarlac/Mandaluyong
Work Arrangement: Onsite, Fulltime
Shift: 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM | Monday - Friday

About this role . . .

We are seeking a well-organized and experienced person with or without a legal background.

The successful applicant will not only have the necessary skills to properly and efficiently support team managers and case managers in their management of client and applicant engagements but also be an outgoing individual with an open personality who is courteous and professional when dealing with team members, clients and suppliers, trustworthy and a team player.

You will report directly to the team manager who is an experienced Migration Lawyer/Practitioner. Teams are generally comprised of 3-5 people and have responsibility for Client relationship (Sponsors) and all associated visa applicants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administrative support to the partners and fee earners in the practice group
  • Opening and closing files
  • Preparing documents and correspondence
  • Create client contact record in CMS
  • Comply with data integrity and security policies
  • Integrity and generating reports
  • Insert customer and account data by inputting text based and numerical information from source documents within time limits
  • Compile, verify accuracy and sort information according to priorities to prepare source data for computer entry
  • Review data for deficiencies or errors, correct any incompatibilities if possible and check output
  • Record & track disbursements and generate invoice drafts
  • Keep information confidential
  • Respond to queries for information and access relevant files
  • Comply with data integrity and security policies

Qualifications / Skills:

  • The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2-3 years experience as a Legal Secretary or experience from an in-house role as a Personal Assistant.
  • Proven data entry work experience, as a Data entry operator or Office clerk
  • Experience with MS Office and data programs
  • Familiarity with administrative duties
  • Typing speed and accuracy
  • Excellent knowledge of correct spelling, grammar and punctuation
  • Attention to detail
  • Confidentiality
  • Organization skills, with an ability to stay focused on assigned tasks

  • Other - Training will be provided on Migration Manager CMS Software
