The Operations Specialist role is designed for a flexible, multi-skilled individual contributor who thrives in dynamic environments and quickly adapts to new business needs. The position offers opportunities to work across multiple RELX operations, products, business units, and industries as requirements evolve. Initial assignments are often project-based or fixed-term, lasting several months and offering wide-ranging learning exposure. Over time, and based on skill development, personal interests, and organizational needs, Operations Specialists may build their careers within a dedicated team or continue in rotational roles across RELX businesses.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide support for various customer-facing and back-office tasks, depending on business needs
- Deliver excellent customer support through email, chat, or phone
- Accurately interpret and communicate in written English
- Work independently while maintaining focus and quality results
- Manage time effectively, meet deadlines, and stay organized
- Summarize information quickly and accurately with strong attention to detail
- Confidently ask questions and seek clarification when needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in any field
- 1–2 years of BPO, shared services, or related experience preferred
- Proficiency with standard computer applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet applications)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines
- Flexible and adaptable to changing business requirements, hybrid/onsite setups, and rotating work schedules
- Excellent English communication skills (both oral and written)
- Ability to quickly learn and apply enterprise AI tools and technologies to support technical workflows and business objectives.
