Job Description

  • Present and previous store performance is taken into consideration in formulating proposed annual plans, which are submitted to the Management by end of November of each year.
  • Approved plans are communicated to all store managers for implementation.
  • Specific action plans are developed based on strategic direction of the company.
  • Quarterly and monthly activities in the store (FOH) are implemented according to schedule.
  • Training is done for existing and new restaurants

oVisits the stores at least once (1 time) per week and head office at least once (1 time) per week

  • Budget for operation is submitted for approval taking into consideration previous operating expenses and sales.
  • Supervision of store operations through restaurant managers/supervisors and personnel is done in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Annual and quarterly marketing plans are developed based on company goals, historical data, and market trends.
  • Marketing calendar (campaigns, promotions, events) is prepared and implemented on schedule.
  • Seasonal campaigns and promotional offers are planned at least one (1) month in advance.
  • Strategies are aligned with operational capacity of all branches.
  • Total approved manpower for the service team (FOH and bar) is not exceeding (should only be within) 18% to 21%.
  • Weekly manpower planning and scheduling is done without exceeding approved manning levels. Manning levels are maintained at a 60:40 ratio of regular and contractual employees.
  • Work expectations of each store manager/supervisor, and personnel are clearly communicated as stated in their competency profiles.
  • Specific assignment and shift schedules of store personnel are rotated as necessary and as operation requirements would permit.
  • Tasks and responsibilities are clearly assigned to Marketing Assistant, Digital Marketing Assistant, and Graphic Artist.
  • Enthusiasm activities for employees are implemented according to approved plans.
  • Resources (digital tools, creatives, materials, collaterals, vendors) are properly allocated to maximize output.
  • All marketing materials and deliverables are completed within agreed timelines.
  • Marketing budget is prepared, approved, and utilized efficiently without unnecessary overspending.
  • Decisions are made in a timely manner and according to approved authority.
  • Decisions requiring approval of or consultation with superiors are made accordingly.
  • Directions, policies and procedures are explained to all store personnel.
  • Required reports and updates are submitted to the Management as expected.
  • Monthly meetings with the MANCOM, other managers and supervisors are attended as scheduled.
  • Clear communication of marketing plans, campaigns, and expectations to the team.
  • Regular meetings are conducted with marketing team and operations team.
  • Deserving store and marketing personnel are recommended for any reward and recognition.
  • Team members are motivated and guided to meet deadlines and performance expectations.
  • Strong coordination with restaurant managers and marketing team to ensure proper execution of promotions.
  • Computations of incentives are accurately and completely submitted to the Management for endorsement.
  • Recommendation and justification for employee promotion and hiring are submitted to the Management for endorsement.
  • Training needs of subordinates are identified. Subordinates are recommended to attend behavioral and technical programs, as needed.
  • Show & Tell method is used on training supervisors/managers and other subordinates.
  • Conducts Training every month as a refresher course/activity.
  • Training and coaching are done to address performance gaps of immediate subordinates.
  • Branch staff are trained on current promotions and customer engagement techniques.
  • Key performance indicators are established and communicated to subordinates.
  • Individual objectives of direct subordinates are agreed on the start of the year.
  • Concurrent feedback and performance review meetings are conducted with direct subordinates in a timely manner and based on factual evidence.
  • Submissions of required reports of direct subordinates are monitored.
  • Performance appraisals of immediate subordinates are done based on performance standards and on agreed individual objectives.
  • Company rules and regulations in disciplinary actions are followed.
  • Marketing KPIs (sales impact, engagement, conversion rates) are established and monitored.
  • Weekly and monthly sales report, product analysis, store performance and customer behaviors are analyzed.
  • Sales and operating income targets for the store are achieved.
  • Target sales per man-hour are achieved.
  • Return on Investment (ROI) for campaigns is measured and analyzed.
  • Food and beverage cost are maintained at agreed targets in coordination with the Corporate Chef and Head Barista.
  • Overhead expenses are maintained at agreed targets.
  • Required sales and marketing expense reports are submitted according to agreed schedule. (All expenses, receipts, billings received by the stores, shall be forwarded to accounting. In turn, accounting should send the draft of the Profit & Loss Statement).
  • Prescribed safety and security measures are followed during opening, operation and closing of store.
  • Quality, Service and Cleanliness (QSC) and food safety audits are facilitated.
  • Minimum acceptable audit ratings are achieved. Enhancement steps are undertaken to maintain and improve rating. Corrective actions in case of audit variances against minimum standard are carried out.
  • Point-of-sale (POS), HR systems, and inventory systems are used and implemented accordingly among all staff.
  • Repairs and maintenance of in-store and marketing equipment and fixtures are monitored and endorsed for scheduling and approval with the Admin team
  • Support to new store pre-opening team is given .
  • Assess and develop new business segments to broaden brand visibility and meet corporate revenue objectives.
  • Sales and marketing strategies are adjusted based on data and insights gathered.
  • Market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities are monitored regularly.
  • Actionable recommendations are presented to management.
  • Customer feedback is collected and analyzed to improve campaigns and offerings.
  • Brand identity is consistently applied across all stores and marketing channels.
  • All promotional materials adhere to brand guidelines and standards.
  • Brand reputation is maintained and enhanced through positive public engagement.
  • Social media platforms are regularly updated with relevant and engaging content.
  • Website and online channels are properly maintained and improved.
  • Online advertising campaigns are executed and monitored effectively.
  • Engagement metrics (reach, impressions, interactions) show consistent improvement.
  • Promotional campaigns, events, and partnerships are successfully executed as planned.
  • Clear instructions and materials are provided to ensure proper execution of campaigns in all branches.
  • Post-campaign evaluations are conducted to measure effectiveness.
  • Community activities and collaborations are established regularly.
