Job Description

The Operational Excellence Supervisor is responsible for supporting process improvements, ensuring compliance, and helping branches and delivery teams work more efficiently. This role includes creating and delivering training, providing real-time support to operations staff, and assisting with the rollout of new policies and procedures.

The supervisor also monitors delivery performance through audits and helps identify areas for improvement. This position is key to maintaining high standards in daily operations and supporting continuous improvement across the organization.

Develop and implement a comprehensive training and development strategy to enhance the operational capabilities of delivery branch personnel.

Design and produce training materials, guides, and resources to support learning initiatives.

Conduct regular refresher training sessions focusing on top operational challenges to reinforce compliance and process adherence.

Serve as the primary point of contact for gateway and delivery personnel, providing real-time support on system usage and operational processes.

Address and resolve process-related inquiries and escalate system concerns where necessary.

Collaborate with delivery supervisors, branch managers, and area managers to review and discuss process enhancements before implementation.

Assist in drafting and refining policies related to operational processes and regulatory compliance.

Support the execution of new processes and standards across gateway and delivery branch, ensuring alignment with corporate policies.

Conduct process audits to monitor and ensure compliance with established policies.

Develop and execute a monitoring strategy to ensure consistent application of JRS operational processes across operations.

Conduct regular delivery branch and gateway surveillance audits to identify non-compliance issues and recommend corrective actions.

Organize and facilitate focus group discussions to gather employee feedback and operational insights.

Performs other duties as assigned by the Immediate Head.

Job Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.

At least 1 year of experience in logistics operations, process improvement, or data analysis (experience in courier or logistics industries is an advantage).

Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen (Certification is a plus).

Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.

Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

Willingness to travel for branch audits, field observations, process immersions, and training activities.

Preferred Skills

Ability to conduct time and motion studies to evaluate productivity and recommend solutions for workload balancing, manpower optimization, and process improvement.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
