Role Overview
eClerx is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Operations Analyst to support operational performance through data analysis, reporting, and process improvement initiatives. The role will focus on developing insights that enable leadership to make data-driven decisions, improve operational efficiency, and support business growth.
The Operations Analyst will work closely with Operations, Sales, Finance, and other support functions to analyze business performance, develop dashboards, and implement analytical tools that drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Data Analytics & Reporting
- Design, develop, and maintain operational dashboards, reports, and analytical tools to monitor key business performance metrics.
- Analyze operational data and generate insights to support decision-making across operations and leadership teams.
- Produce daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports on operational KPIs including productivity, service levels, and quality metrics.
- Ensure accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of operational data and reporting processes.
Business Insights & Performance Analysis
- Provide analytical insights to support operational performance improvements and business growth initiatives.
- Analyze trends, identify performance gaps, and recommend actions to improve operational efficiency.
- Support profitability analysis, operational productivity tracking, and performance management initiatives.
- Develop reporting tools and cost or performance models that enable leadership to quickly interpret operational data.
Process Improvement & Automation
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes, automate reporting, and improve operational workflows.
- Support process improvement initiatives and implementation of new operational tools.
- Develop documentation, process guides, and analytical frameworks to support continuous improvement initiatives.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work closely with Operations, Finance, Sales, and other business teams to support analytical requirements.
- Gather business requirements and translate them into data insights and reporting solutions.
- Support leadership with ad hoc analysis and strategic reporting requirements.
Strategic Insights & Planning Support
- Support business planning initiatives through data-driven insights and reporting.
- Assist leadership in identifying growth opportunities, operational improvements, and cost optimization strategies.
- Contribute to strategic reporting that helps drive business performance and decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Data Analytics, Statistics, or a related field.
- 25 years of experience in operations analytics, business intelligence, or reporting roles.
- Experience supporting operations, sales, or business performance reporting.
- Strong understanding of business metrics, operational KPIs, and data analysis.
Technical Skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, data modeling, dashboards).
- Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Google Data Studio, or similar).
- Knowledge of SQL, data queries, or analytics tools is an advantage.
- Experience working with large datasets and automated reporting systems.
