Job Description

Job Description:

  • Apply advanced data analytical skills to devise effective detection strategies to identify problematic listings and violations within the Shopee content ecosystem including livestream and videos to mitigate risk for the platform and ensure good user experience
  • Develop dashboards and automated reports to keep track of operational efficiency, strategy effectiveness and agent productivity
  • Work with product and Data Science teams to support the development of models for a more accurate and wider detection
  • Design and review operational processes to drive productivity and quality improvements among listing and content agents
  • Deep dive into pain points of sellers listing upload journey to optimise user experience
  • Project manage the rollout and adoption of initiatives and features, including coordinating testing, developing training material, reporting and tracking of impact across Shopee markets

Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing Bachelor's degree in STEM or other subjects with a strong analytical component
  • Strong data analytical skills, SQL and/or Python are highly desirable
  • Passion for utilising data to drive informed decision-making and improve processes
  • Strong curiosity to understand the whys and hows and to develop the so-what that will help shape policies, initiatives and features
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration and clear presentation to management
  • Experience collaborating and working with multiple stakeholders from across teams and levels
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic and collaborative environment to drive business goals and make an impact
  • Interest in designing operational processes and systems
  • Full-time interns preferred (3-6 months)
  • Part-time interns who can commit at least 3 working days a week are also welcome to apply
