Universal Robina Corporation is looking for an Internal Audit Associate. The Internal Audit Associate will be in charge of performing individual internal audit projects, as part of the total internal audit plan.
What are the Roles and Responsibilities
- Developing internal audit scope, performing internal audit procedures, and preparing internal audit reports reflecting the results of the work performed.
- Work performed will include coverage of functional and operating units and focusing on financial, IT and operational processes.
- Assist internal audit management with periodic reporting to the audit committee, development of the annual internal audit plan, and championing internal audit control and corporate governance concepts throughout the business
What are the Qualifications
- Wiling to do field work.
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Industrial Engineering/IT or equivalent.
- With a Financial and/ or IT audit background
- Proficiency in AI-driven audit tools/ applications will be an advantage
- Proficiency in data analytics will be an advantage
- Understanding of internal control concepts and experience in applying them to plan, perform, manage, and report on the evaluation of various business processes/areas/functions.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively present to peers and management.
- At least 3 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- CPA or CIA or CISA is preferred but not required.
