Job description:
We are seeking a skilled Solutions Engineer who will be responsible for deploying enterprise network and wireless solutions, preparing technical documentation, executing acceptance tests, coordinating with Project Managers during project implementations, and conducting wireless site surveys using tools like AirMagnet. This role involves working with technologies from Cisco, HP Aruba, Ubiquiti, and other similar platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement enterprise network solutions, including (but not limited to) network switches, routers, SD-WAN, and network management systems (NMS).
- Deploy wireless solutions such as access points and WLAN controllers.
- Prepare and deliver technical documentation, including Customer Requirements Documents, Low-Level Designs, Methods of Procedure, Network Implementation Plans, Migration Plans, and As-Built Documentation.
- Create, execute, and present acceptance tests such as Hardware Acceptance Tests and User Acceptance Tests.
- Collaborate closely with Project Managers throughout project rollouts and deployments.
- Conduct wireless site surveyspredictive, passive, and activeusing AirMagnet and similar tools.
- Work on solutions involving vendors such as Cisco, HP Aruba, Ubiquiti, and comparable technologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of experience in deploying, administering, or troubleshooting enterprise routing, switching, or wireless solutions.
- Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP Enterprise, or Cisco Certified Specialist Enterprise Core are an advantage.
- Working knowledge of enterprise-grade switches, routers, and wireless solutions from Cisco or equivalent brands.
