As a
Network Solutions Engineer, you will own the full lifecycle of delivering managed Wi-Fi networks to hospitality propertiesspanning from initial design and pre-sales engineering to on-site deployment support and post-install validation. This role bridges solution architecture with hands-on implementation oversight, ensuring our customers receive reliable, scalable, and brand-compliant network solutions.
Duties/ Responsibilities
Pre-Sales & Design
- Collaborate with Sales, Product Managers, and Brand Leads to design network solutions that meet customer and brand standards.
- Perform site surveys, gather requirements, and develop detailed network designs (Meraki, Aruba, Ruckus, or similar).
- Translate business and technical requirements into clear solution proposals, diagrams, and bills of materials.
- Educate and consult customers on technological requirements and deployment readiness.
Deployment & Implementation
- Partner with Installers, Project Managers, and Field Technicians to ensure successful execution of new installations or property cutovers.
- Oversee and coordinate Post-Install Checks (PICs), ensuring all devices are set up and visible in the NMS.
- Troubleshoot installation issues and close gaps identified during PICs.
- Verify all tools and dashboards are accessible to property staff and coordinate training on the Site Dashboard, Conference Tool, and Splash Page setup.
Support & Quality Assurance
- Serve as the technical subject matter expert throughout the customer onboarding journey.
- Identify training or process improvements needed to improve installation quality and consistency.
- Provide structured feedback loops to Engineering, NOC, and Deployment teams on recurring field issues or design gaps.

Experience
Qualification and requirements:
- 46+ years in network engineering, with at least 2 years in deployment/implementation.
- Experience with WAN/MAN/LAN/Wi-Fi networks, switching, and VLAN/WLAN configuration.
- Prior pre-sales engineering or design experience (hospitality or public venues preferred).
- Experience in a NOC or technical support role (managed Wi-Fi or satellite TV is a plus).
Soft Skills
- Strong communication and customer-facing skills.
- Analytical problem-solving and troubleshooting ability.
- Comfortable working cross-functionally and independently with minimal supervision.
Education
- Bachelors degree in a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Non-negotiable skills & requirements:
Technical Skills
- Experience on subnetting fundamentals and L2 configuration
- Experience designing with Meraki, Aruba, or Ruckus.
- Familiarity with network monitoring systems (NMS).
- Meraki ECMS certification (mandatory upon hire; company-supported)
