About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Solutions Engineer to deploy enterprise network and wireless solutions. This role involves preparing technical documentation, executing acceptance tests, collaborating with Project Managers during implementations, and conducting wireless site surveys using tools such as AirMagnet. You will work with technologies from Cisco, HP Aruba, Ubiquiti, and similar platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement enterprise network solutions, including network switches, routers, SD-WAN, and Network Management Systems (NMS).
- Deploy wireless solutions such as access points and WLAN controllers.
- Prepare and deliver technical documentation, including:
- Customer Requirements Documents (CRD)
- Low-Level Designs (LLD)
- Methods of Procedure (MOP)
- Network Implementation Plans
- Migration Plans
- As-Built Documentation
- Develop, execute, and present acceptance tests, including Hardware Acceptance Tests (HAT) and User Acceptance Tests (UAT).
- Collaborate closely with Project Managers throughout project implementation and deployment phases.
- Conduct wireless site surveys (predictive, passive, and active) using AirMagnet and similar tools.
- Work with solutions from vendors such as Cisco, HP Aruba, Ubiquiti, and equivalent technologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of experience in deploying, administering, or troubleshooting enterprise routing, switching, or wireless solutions.
- Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP Enterprise, or Cisco Certified Specialist – Enterprise Core are an advantage.
- Working knowledge of enterprise-grade networking equipment (switches, routers, and wireless solutions) from Cisco or equivalent vendors.
