Designation: Network Architect

Key Responsibilities:
- The Network Architect will design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable, and high-performing network infrastructures that support business objectives.
- Responsibilities include assessing current network environments, identifying gaps, and creating architecture blueprints for LAN, WAN, and cloud connectivity.
- The role involves collaborating with IT operations, security, and application teams to ensure seamless integration and compliance with standards.
- Additional duties include capacity planning, performance optimization, and cost management for network resources.
- The architect will also lead technology evaluations, provide guidance on network modernization, and ensure adherence to security and regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications:
- The ideal candidate holds a bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, with extensive experience in designing and implementing enterprise network solutions.
- A minimum of 58 years in network engineering roles, including at least 3 years in architecture or solution design, is required.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF), routing and switching, firewalls, VPNs, and network security best practices is essential.
- Familiarity with SD-WAN, cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP), and virtualization technologies is highly desirable.
- Certifications such as Cisco CCNP/CCIE, Juniper JNCIP, or equivalent are considered a strong advantage.
Preferred Qualifications:
- We prefer candidates with experience in enterprise-level network projects, cloud migration strategies, and automation tools (Ansible, Python scripting).
- Exposure to network monitoring and observability tools (SolarWinds, Nagios, or similar), SDN technologies, and zero-trust security models is advantageous.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, the ability to translate technical concepts into business language, and experience in vendor negotiations are highly valued.
- Familiarity with disaster recovery planning and network resilience strategies will be considered a plus.
Skills and Competencies:
- Core competencies include strategic thinking, solution design, and excellent communication skills to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Technical expertise should cover advanced routing and switching, network segmentation, and security hardening.
- The candidate must demonstrate proficiency in troubleshooting complex network issues, optimizing performance, and implementing high-availability configurations.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously are essential.
- A proactive mindset, adaptability to emerging technologies, and leadership in driving network innovation will ensure success in this role.
