A Gym Membership Consultant acts as the primary sales representative, responsible for driving revenue by attracting new members, conducting club tours, and closing sales. They promote a healthy lifestyle, manage client relationships, and ensure high member retention through excellent customer service, usually working towards, or exceeding, monthly sales targets and KPIs.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Generation: Actively sell gym memberships and packages to walk-ins, phone inquiries, and leads generated through community outreach.
- Customer Engagement: Conduct, professional, and energetic gym tours, highlighting facilities, equipment, and tailored membership options to meet prospect fitness goals.
- Lead Management: Proactively follow up on leads via phone, text, and email, managing the CRM database for accurate record-keeping.
- Retention and Service: Foster strong relationships with existing members to encourage renewals, upgrades, and referrals.
- Targets & Reporting: Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets set by management.
