Virtual Rockstar is seeking a full-time Medical Virtual Assistant to join our client's team. This role is virtual and patient-facing, offering the opportunity to assist patients remotely while maintaining our clinic's high standards of patient care. You will be working with WelcomeWare software, so a strong ability to manage digital tools is essential. The ideal candidate should be comfortable handling virtual patient interactions, scheduling, insurance inquiries, and more.

Responsibilities:
Patient Appointment Management
Confirm patient appointments and manage the appointment calendar.
Handle appointment rescheduling and send appointment reminders.
Greet virtual patients, provide directions for accessing appointments, and answer calls and emails.
Insurance Verification & Patient Support
Verify patient insurance coverage and update patient files with insurance information.
Explain insurance benefits to patients and assist with insurance-related inquiries.
Liaise with insurance providers (via portals such as Availity and Navinet) to clarify coverage details.
Patient Interaction & Support
Respond to patient inquiries via phone or email, ensuring excellent customer service.
Maintain patient confidentiality and privacy at all times.
Maintain a waitlist for patient appointments and contact patients for feedback.
Electronic Medical Records (EMR) & Data Entry
Maintain accurate electronic medical records and perform data entry.
Generate basic reports using Microsoft Excel and EMR data.
General Administrative Duties
Assist with other administrative tasks as needed, such as managing patient communication and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations of the virtual practice.
Provide emergency contact details to patients when needed.
Experience using WebPT EMR
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Familiarity with insurance portals like Availity and Navinet
Excellent virtual communication skills and comfort with patient-facing duties.
Ability to manage administrative tasks efficiently in a fast-paced, virtual environment.
Technical Requirements:
Experience with WebPT EMR
Experience using insurance portals (Availity, Trizetto, Navinet, or similar)
Strong phone skills and comfort in patient-facing roles
