The Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning Associate Manager (MEAL) supports the design, implementation, and management of M&E systems and processes by working with project teams and other stakeholders to ensure that projects achieve their intended objectives and that project results are accurately measured, reported, and utilized for learning and decision-making.
- Assist the development of M&E plans, frameworks, and strategies for projects or programs, ensuring that they align with organizational goals and stakeholder requirements.
- Develop and refine performance indicators, targets, and data collection tools to measure project progress and outcomes, in collaboration with project teams.
- Support the implementation of data collection activities, such as surveys, interviews, focus groups, or other data collection methods, and ensuring data quality and accuracy.
- Analyze and interpret data to assess project performance, identify trends, and inform decision-making.
- Prepare regular M&E reports and updates, summarizing project progress, achievements, challenges, and lessons learned.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and learning among project teams and stakeholders, ensuring that M&E findings are communicated effectively and used to inform project implementation and improvement.
- Assist with the coordination and management of project evaluations, including baseline, mid-term, and end-of-project evaluations, to assess project impact and effectiveness.
- Support capacity-building efforts related to M&E, such as providing training or technical assistance to project staff and partners.
- Collaborate with other M&E team members, project staff, and stakeholders to continually improve M&E systems and processes.
Requirements
- At least a Bachelor's degree in economics, public policy, statistics, math, or other related fields
- At least 4 years of experience in data analytics, M&E, data science, or related fields
- Experience working with different statistics and M&E methodologies (e.g. RCT, causal inference, or survey design), software (e.g. Stata, R, or Python), and visualization/dashboarding tools (eg, Shiny, Tableau, PowerBI, or Google Looker)
- Willing to work in Makati City on a hybrid setup (3x a week onsite)
- Willing to travel to project areas
