About the Role
Semirara Mining & Power Corporation is looking for a Marketing Specialist to support our Sales and Marketing team in driving revenue growth within the electric power business. This role plays a vital part in contracting, marketing, and account management, working closely with customers and industry stakeholders to build long-term partnerships and sustain profitability.
What You'll Do
Contracting & Business Development
- Assist in identifying business opportunities and developing relationships with existing and prospective customers
- Support bid and proposal preparation, pricing formulation, and contract negotiations
- Coordinate bid schedules, requirements, and customer submissions
- Help evaluate customer requirements and load profiles
Marketing & Industry Engagement
- Support the development of marketing plans and strategies
- Maintain and update customer and prospect databases
- Monitor relevant policies, rules, and regulations (ERC, DOE, WESM, and other agencies) affecting the power industry
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Account Management & Customer Service
- Monitor customer energy consumption, payments, and contract compliance
- Coordinate with Finance/Accounting on billing and collection concerns
- Address customer issues and recommend appropriate actions
- Serve as a primary point of contact and ensure excellent post-service support
What We're Looking For
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Marketing, Finance, Business, or related fields
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience (experience in the power or energy industry is an advantage)
