We Are Hiring: Channel Sales Manager (Modern Trade)
For our sister company, Ardent World, Inc.
Qualifications:
- Strong academic and quantitative background in any of the following courses: Commerce, Industrial Engineering, Management Engineering, Industrial Management Engineering, Lia-Com, Business Management, or Marketing.
- Comfortable and proficient with technology, or willing to learn.
- Minimum of 5 years of sales management experience, preferably in a supermarket or department store setup.
- Extensive experience in handling, promoting, and selling consumer products (preferably toothpaste, soap, or biscuits).
- Willing and able to conduct frequent field visits to monitor, execute, and achieve sales targets.
- Strong background in merchandising and brand management (definite advantage).
Key Areas of Responsibility:
1. Sales Planning, Analysis, and Strategy
- Plan and analyze sales growth through penetration, product placement, and new channels.
- Evaluate and track same-store sales growth, new store/channel growth, and new product/area placements.
- Plan for timely collections and improved store profitability.
- Analyze manpower needs to maximize efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Ensure consistent achievement of sales targets through in-store promotional activities.
2. Sales to Trade
- Manage timely collection of accounts receivables and improve trade discounts and payment terms.
- Balance trade support against sales to optimize profitability.
- Build and strengthen trade relations.
- Conceptualize, implement, and evaluate in-store promotions and events, while identifying prospective customers.
3. Sales Organization
- Plan manpower roster for the sales department to ensure productivity and cost efficiency.
- Systematize processes to ensure smooth department operations.
- Lead overall account management of assigned territories.
4. Sales Administration
- Submit timely, relevant, and actionable sales reports.
- Conduct monthly business reviews with key accounts and quarterly company-wide reviews of accounts and products.
- Visit key trade partners nationwide to review business and plan for growth.
- Maintain proper documentation of trade terms, sales records, and expense reports.
- Monitor and evaluate performance of Promo/Sales teams to ensure individual targets are met.
