Reporting directly to the Head of Convenience, the Marketing Manager is a pivotal leadership role responsible for driving significant business growth, enhancing retailer profitability, and expanding brand equity. This role leads the development and execution of the organization's product lifecycle management and multi-channel marketing strategies. Taking full responsibility for the brand's financial performance and marketing team leadership, this position is fundamental to the continued success and future direction of our convenience retail business.
The successful candidate will establish and maintain strong relationships with internal Executives, retail partners, and external suppliers to champion the premium customer experience.
Develop and execute high-impact, revenue-generating marketing campaigns and strategies across all channels.
Manage and report on the overall marketing budget, defining key performance metrics (KPIs) and meticulously reporting on the Return on Marketing Investment (ROMI).
Take full financial responsibility for brand performance, ensuring strategies contribute directly to business growth and retailer wealth.
Champion New Product Development (NPD) initiatives from concept to launch to increase sales volume and market presence.
Oversee the creation and quality control of all external marketing material and communications across print and digital platforms.
Devise and implement all integrated Product and Channel marketing communications.
Drive and implement overarching digital strategies to meet business objectives, including managing client-paid advertising products to deliver strong sales results.
Act as the primary manager for external suppliers, including creative, media, and PR agencies, ensuring strategic alignment and optimal performance.
Oversee key cross-functional projects and initiatives, working closely with internal departments such as Operations, Merchandise, and IT.
Provide hands-on leadership, mentoring, and direct management for the Marketing Team based in the Philippines.
Cultivate and maintain strong working relationships with Executive-level stakeholders, retailers, and key suppliers.
Minimum of 8 years experience in marketing, with a proven track record in a management-level role.
Tertiary qualifications in a relevant Management/Business discipline or equivalent industry experience is essential.
Strong background in the Food Retail or Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industries.
Experience working within a Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) environment (e.g., McDonald's, Domino's Pizza, etc.) will be highly regarded.
Influencing and Negotiation: Proven ability to influence stakeholders and negotiate effectively with external agencies and suppliers.
Project Management: Excellent project and timeline management skills with strong attention to detail.
Digital Acumen: Strong general knowledge of digital, usability concepts, SEO, and SEM, including the ability to strategically question and manage agency implementation.
Autonomy: Demonstrates a high degree of autonomy and a willingness to be hands-on in execution.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
